Assembly Guides
Simple setup for every Rattan Luxe product
All Rattan Luxe furniture requires minimal assembly. Most pieces arrive partially assembled with step-by-step illustrated instructions included in every box. No specialist tools are required — a standard Phillips screwdriver is all you need for most sets.
Before You Begin
- Unpack all boxes and lay out the components before starting assembly.
- Check all parts against the included parts list. Report any missing items within 48 hours.
- Assemble on a flat, stable surface — ideally on a soft surface to avoid scratching.
- We recommend two people for lifting and positioning heavier components.
- Do not over-tighten bolts — hand-tight plus a quarter turn is sufficient.
Tools You May Need
- Phillips screwdriver — for most standard fixings.
- Allen key — usually included in the hardware pack.
- Adjustable spanner — for bolt connections on larger sets.
- Rubber mallet — helpful for snapping modular sections together.
Rattan Dining Sets

Rattan dining sets from the Monaco, Ibiza, and Riviera collections typically arrive in 2–4 boxes depending on the set size.
Attach the table legs to the frame using the provided bolts. Ensure all four legs are level before tightening.
Carefully position the tempered glass top onto the table frame. The glass suckers on the frame will hold it securely in place.
Chairs arrive fully assembled. Simply add the seat and back cushions using the tie-back straps provided.
Rattan Sofa Sets

Corner sofa sets and modular configurations arrive in multiple boxes. The sofa sections are pre-assembled — you simply connect them together.
Arrange the sofa modules in your desired configuration before connecting.
Use the connecting clips or bolts underneath each module to secure sections together. This prevents movement during use.
Place seat cushions and back cushions onto the frame. Attach any scatter cushions or accessories included with your set.
Aluminium Modular Sets

The Tuscany, Mykonos, and Barcelona aluminium collections feature a modular design that allows flexible configuration.
Screw the adjustable feet into the base of each module. These allow you to level the furniture on uneven surfaces.
Slide modules together and secure with the provided aluminium connecting brackets underneath.
For sets with fire pit or coffee tables, place the table top onto the base unit. Connect the gas line if applicable (see Fire Pit setup below).
Fire Pit Table Setup

Fire pit tables require a few additional steps for the gas connection. Please read the full safety instructions included with your set before use.
Follow the table assembly instructions to build the base unit with the integrated gas compartment.
Place a standard 5kg propane gas bottle inside the compartment. Connect the regulator hose to the bottle valve — hand-tighten only.
Distribute the lava rocks evenly around the burner. Place the glass wind guard over the burner area.
Turn the gas valve to the on position and press the ignition button. Test in a well-ventilated area and check all connections for leaks using soapy water.
Parasol Assembly

Selected dining sets include a free 2.7m parasol and base. Assembly is straightforward.
Connect the two-piece pole sections together. Ensure the crank mechanism faces outward.
Place the pole into the weighted base. If using through a table, thread through the centre hole first. Tighten the base collar to secure.
Use the crank handle to raise the canopy. Tilt mechanisms (if fitted) allow angle adjustment for changing sun positions.
